This page is an attempt on my part to publicly answer some of the questions that naturally arise when one "comes 'round a corner" and finds him or herself confronted with a stunning, breathtakingly beautiful breed of dog which they have never before come across. Since the very first day of COLOSSEUM SHADOWS™ exposure on an international level thru our ad in the big annual, internationally published gallery of breeds called "DOGS", I have been fielding questions from around the world concerning this wonderful breed called Cane Corso. I will here reproduce in a series of links, some of the answers I have given in response. Hopefully you will find some of this useful as you try and familiarize yourself with what is currently one of the world's rarest of breeds.

In these letters, I have in places stated my opinions... and I have tried to state them as such. There is also very much here that isn't subject to opinion, but is verifiable information- some of it scientific (genetics 101), some statistical, and some is more personal... one of my letters is offered as a hybrid treatise/exposé in exposing some verifiably false statements made -and PUBLISHED (not a very smart thing to do)- by an espouser of one club's standard toward the standard and practices of the other club. I have done much of the verifying myself, personally... you can too, and I encourage it. Many of the answers ARE there for those willing to seek them out and make them fact (or find the facts, to be more accurate). The difference between what is opinion and what is VERIFIABLE I hope and believe are obvious enough. I am one who believes that if you arm yourself with as much info as you can get, a little 'plain-old-fashioned' common-sense will go a long way in the discernment of what is Truth and what isn't.
